Colleen Tews is a nerdy pagan from Northeast Ohio. When she isn’t writing or reading, she travels to Comic Conventions and Book Fairs with her husband. She collects Avatar: The Last Airbender Funko Pops. She has most of them autographed.
Colleen is a survivor. From domestic violence to sepsis to breast cancer, she fought back against them all. She is an advocate for Women’s Rights and Mental Health Awareness. As a animal lover she also speaks out against animal mutilation.

Colleen Tews wrote and edited several drafts of Birth of a Vixen while she worked as an overnight dispatcher for a private ambulance company.
As an older teenager her family took trips to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She swore someday she would take her own kids there. Colleen was able to fulfill that promise. And she'd love to visit again.
