Vampire Bloodlines Are In The House

Updated: May 28, 2020

New to the Shadow Faith series? Don't worry. You're not alone. There is some information you'll need to know. Such as no one is born a vampire. They're sired. Like us humans have family names they have Houses and each House is unique.

All vampires have the usual powers: super fast, strong, rapid healing, and heightened senses. Some Houses are better at those than others. Then there are Houses that have abilities that are special only to them.

There are twelve Houses. Let's list them off.

1) Apep

2) Artyom

3) Cemal

4) Gancheru

5) Kaiser

6) Lakshman

7) Maarten

8) Rama

9) Ravana

10) Trilochana

11) Vadimas

12) Vivek

How can we keep track of a list this long? I have a hard time with it and I have the master copy. I make comparisons to pop culture.

For instance: A great member of House Rama could be Beast Boy from Teen Titans. He's loyal, shapeshifts, friendly, but has no problem being on his own. Is that how all Ramians are? Nah. Everyone is a little different, but to their core...sure.

Another example, this time from vampire culture. Klaus Mikaelson would make a fabulous Cemalian. Sexy as hell. He's a wonderful artist, mesmerizing, and takes care of business. Whereas his brother Elijah could be Kaiserian. He lives life by a code. He has class, but don't piss him off.

Angela Vista, a.k.a. Veronica, belongs to the Vadimas House. I imagine our beloved Merch With a Mouth belongs to this House, too. That's right Deadpool would totally be a Vadimasian were he a vampire. He is so wrong in all the right ways.

Read the books. Figure out which you belong to. Let us know.

FYI Birth Of A Vixen is only 0.99c on Kindle during this pandemic.
